I can't believe Christmas is over and the (very busy) new year is almost here. We had a super Christmas. Adam was so happy to open his Wii. He wanted to high five me but was so excited that we pretty much missed altogether. He played it some on Christmas Eve day (his Christmas morning in Jamestown) and he does really well. He got four strikes in a row on the bowling. Wow!

We are having a nice time in Harrison County. It's always fun to be with family. Adam and Luke have been great. Luke has discovered that he can make lots of noise and enjoys "talking" to us. He is full of smiles for sure! Adam has had fun playing with his toys and also relaxing. He's watching a movie this morning at Nana and Poppy's.

We are excited and overwhelmed about moving to Mount Sterling. I will be working part time at Camargo Elementary, the same school where my friend Amy works. I will be an NCLB tutor and I'm still communicaiting with Mrs. Smith, the principal, on specifics of start date and job expectations. I'm hoping that this turns into something full time in the fall. We are going to rent for the first few months. We don't know where yet. Initially we were going to buy, but then everything was moving at warp speed and it didn't seem possible to find the right home so quick. Life is wild. God is good. I am still sane, at least at this point. :)

I am making calls about daycare today. I think Bucky and I are going to Mount Sterling tomororow so hopefully we can see some. We loved Higher Aim so much and I want to feel good about leaving them. As I often say, I want to think about the boys during the day, but I don't want to worry about them.

Better go. Keep us in your prayers.

I LOVE Journey to Bethlehem.
Gosset Family Christmas at Blue Licks

Adam was so happy to feed Luke!

Our life in a nutshell lately: Journey to Bethlehem, moving to Mount Sterling in January, wanting to sell the house, packing up room at JES and office at JCC but not yet begun the house, Luke rolling over, Adam driving us crazy wanting to know scores of every game on TV and who's winning and losing, interview on Monday, looking at houses on Monday, shedding tears over all kinds of "last," wrapping Christmas presents, trusting God, having too many "I'm losing it" moments to share and woudn't share some for sheer embarassment, having Adam and Luke spending more time with Megan and Nick that with us it seems, doing laundry all the time, sitting in front of the Christmas tree as a family when we can, Christmas parties, not blogging.....

Things are wild here. Enjoy the picture posts for now.....

We had a wonderful time in Cynthiana and Berry. A good time was had by all. Fun moments include Tony convincing Adam to eat cookies out of his toes (edited since Kim's comment), DD pushing Adam in Nana's walker, and Adam and his Christmas lists and Christmas catalog that was practically glued to him. Luke did so well with the trip. He is a happy little fellow, that's for sure! A little treasure!

We got home this afternoon and about thirty minutes later we invited friends over to watch the Cats. It's in overtime and we're hoping to pull out a win. I've watched the game some but have also tried to do some laundry and put clothes away. Hard to believe that tomorrow is Sunday and it begins a VERY busy week for us.

Boo! Kentucky just lost. Better go mourn with company.

Later.....

So Proud

Luke rolled over! Last night he rolled from his belly to his back. We are so proud of our little guy. Woo Hoo!

Adam is becoming quite obsessed with Christmas. He wants to know how much longer and he seems to want to add to his list daily. He even wants to add to Luke's list. Funny!

It's been a nice night. We've ALL been home and this has been rare and will be rare in the coming weeks with Journey to Bethlehem. I cooked supper and now we're just hanging out. I've got several things I should do but don't know if they'll get done.

17 more school days until Christmas break!

Luke is crazy about Bucky. You should hear the noises that go along with a session like this.

Luke is so serious in this picture.

Here you can see Adam's highwaters. We went to Bowling Green yesterday and got him some pants and started our Christmas shopping too! He is holding his letter to Santa that we wrote yesterday. He was so proud of it.

I have a shot just like this with me and Adam. It was also taken in November but I wasn't wearing short sleeves in it. Crazy weather.

It's Friday night. Bucky, Adam and Luke are having a guys night while I go to the Fall Festival at JES. They are having some guys come over to watch the Cats. I know I'll be worn out when the night is over. We enjoyed Survivor last night. Russell is amazing--finding two immunity idols without clues. Too cool! Bucky had praise team practice but made it home earlier than normal and so we watched it and went to bed earlier than we sometimes do. Bucky can't seem to get caught up on rest. He needs to take one day and just sleep and sleep. Don't know when there will be a day for that. Later gators.....

Luke loves this toy. He'll swat at the animals. He's been acting like he could roll over any day. He gets to one side and just hangs out.

Callie totally cracks me up in these pictures. My intention was to get Adam but yet she's in every shot too. She is the BEST dog! We love her SO much!

What a wild, wild week and that's putting it mildly.......
Monday--Three of us to BG for Allison's birthday. Mary kept Luke. We got home close to 11.
Tuesday--I had Guild meeting and Bucky got home way late after seeing Tony Dungy in Indiana.
Wednesday--Church
Thursday--Date Night after Bucky had PT practice. That morning all my fellas were on the church bus at 6:00 since Bucky had to head to Somerset early.
Friday--I was home with Luke and Adam and worked like a madwoman around the house. Buck took a group to Southland to see David Crowder Band.
Saturday--Adam and Bucky went to GattiTown with the church while Luke and I stayed home. I was going to be lazy, but it really didn't play out that way. Bucky and I had to go to a dinner meeting and so Nick and Megan watched Adam and Luke. Bucky was actually in bed before both boys. He is zapped! I am getting ready to iron pants for Bucky and fill bottles for tomorrow then it's off to bed for me!

We Just Love to Love Around Here

October is almost over! Where does the time go? We've all stayed busy lately. It seems I look up every night and it's already 10 o clock. Adam is doing well. He's learning the 23rd Psalm at daycare. He can say the first two verses by heart. Luke is doing great. When he plays on his blanket he can pretty much turn himself in circles.
Halloween festivities went well today at school. I was Princess Leia as evidenced by the picture. Bucky is at the football game tonight and I can't seem to get off the computer. I was behind on pictures and wanted to take care of them. I have a lovely night of laundry, cleaning, and grading some papers ahead of me. Adam is relaxing with a movie and Luke is sleeping. Callie is prewashing my dishes for me. :)
